We have well equipped facilities at our Over Mountain Center that will host: Meetings, Workshops, Reunions, Weddings, and other organized events.
- The Over Mountain Center at Sugar Hollow
is a three-structure hospitality center, fully heated and air-conditioned and it includes the following:
- The Cherokee House, a beautifully remodeled early 20th Century Saltbox style architecture. It accommodates comfortably 8 guests, has 4 bedrooms, 1 Living room, 1 full modern kitchen lined with pine cabinets, new appliances and extensive counter space, 1 laundry facility, 2 full baths and 2 extra sinks.
- The Sequoia Cottage, a unique and aesthetic expression of a talented furniture designer combining a perfect blend of old and new architecture, featuring diagonal white-pine ceilings, skylights, ancient timbers, private decks andspectacular views. It accommodates comfortably 6-8 guests, has 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 intimate dining area, 1 full modern kitchen lined with pine cabinets and new appliances, 1 laundry facility, 3 full baths and 1 half bath.
- The Watauga Building, an elegant and functional 1,200 square foot conference facility with Audio/Video equipment, fully heated and air-conditioned, with bathrooms, a kitchenette, optional partitions, 10 tables and seating for 40 guests. Additional seating can be added for an approximate capacity of 100.
The Cherokee House, The Sequoia Cottage and The Workshop/Seminar Conference Facility can be rented separately, or as an inclusive package (with or without the Conference Facility), on a daily basis. The entire center can accommodate groups up to 16 guests indoor and an additional 24 guests camping outdoors with their own tents. Indoor cots are available upon request.
